How do you get the clouds so smoothe?

I am using a Nikon D300 with built in intervalometer at 2 frames every 10 seconds, it looks great when i play it back using the built in play mode on the D300, but when i import as image sequence on Quicktime, i get very gittery results, even though it was shot all on a tripod..

Any tips? , The frame rate was 24fps..

    Hey,

Firstly how come you’re doing 2 frames every 10 seconds? do u mean one frame every 5 seconds or it takes two at ten seconds? I think whats going on is that quicktime is having a hard time to process the unrendered footage. if you are loading that much data through the player it will lag. So I suggest you export the footage then try playing it again. To export you need to go to File>export then Export as ‘movie to Quick Time Movie’ Set the options to: Settings = compression type H.264 and Size to something like ’1280 x 720 HD’ then click save. once rendered you should try playing the newly created video. I hope that works :)
